NFC for iPhone
I’ve been wondering for a long time why there is only one (or maybe two) ugly model of mobile phone equipped with NFC, given it doesn’t seem something expensive to integrate, and it provides great benefits and applications. Not to mention the tons of other not so usefull HW we already have in our phones. My second question was: why there’s no external add-on for NFC? I was thinking more in the line of a BT device for nearly any cell phone, but this iCarte looks like a great solution for those iFocused (i.e. focused just on iPhone). I don’t own an iPhone (and probably never will but you never know), but it’s great having advances in the field. Will this be a killer app selling (again) huge amounts of iPhones?

Adobe Flash and AIR Coming Soon to Android [VIDEOS]
It seems we may be able to load legacy non-HTML5 sites after all. And even AIR apps!! which may be even better.
Though these are answers that create more questions….
Will it be available to non-2.0 devices?
Will Vodafone _ever_ release 2.0 to Magic devices?

IoT: Green Goose: Save Money Using Sensors
An Internet of Things concept taken into the market.
I don’t know if getting my money automatically transfered from one account to other - even if both are mine - is what I want IoT for, but it would definitely help in getting aware of such savings and, probably, empowering further savings.
… And that’s more than enough for me given the current status of technology deployment regarding measuring activities and household consumptions.
Great initiative then!

Apple launches iPad, multitasking is forgotten once again :-(
Apple launched a new awesome device today, the long expected tablet: the iPad.
A somehow oversized iPhone, between a laptop and a phone, running iPhone OS.

It looks gorgeus, and it’s priced between $499 and $829 depending on storage (from 16GB to 64GB) and on having 3G on top of its wifi.
But… -yes, there’s a but-…. ¡no multitasking!
These guys at California keep denying some of their customers are powerusers demanding control over their devices and different ways of using them - I mean other than The Way they think you have to use it.
It’s a pity, I was almost getting my credit card (yes, yes, I know, 60 days delivery time for the only-wifi units, and 90 days for the 3G+wifi units), but I’ll have to rethinking now…. I think I’ll definitely wait until they release iPhone OS 4.0, crossing my fingers hoping they’ll include multitasking
Apple! Listen us! We want multitasking!!!!
In the Next Industrial Revolution, Atoms Are the New Bits | Magazine
The brief article perfectly reflects the paradigm change in product development that is happening due to open source coming to not only electronics but to any kind of hardware.
Furthermore, the video shows another paradigm change in manufacturing that is happening due to new market & business models, as well as thanks to personal fabricator technologies.
They both are worth a reading/viewing.
